6. Voting and Winner Determination Process

6.1. Jury Voting:

    • Jury Formation: The Organizing Committee of the Award invites leading experts in the fields of digital technologies, marketing, e-commerce, and related fields to join the jury. The jury includes representatives of business, academia, independent experts, as well as representatives of relevant organizations and associations. The jury is formed taking into account the principles of professionalism, objectivity, independence, and absence of conflicts of interest. The jury composition is published on the official website of the Award.
    • Conflict of Interest: Representatives of the Award participants may be members of the jury. If a jury member is affiliated with an Award participant (is an employee, representative, consultant, etc.), has a personal interest in the voting results for a particular application, or cannot provide an objective assessment for other reasons, they must recuse themselves from evaluating that application and/or the applications of direct competitors. The decision on recusal is made by the jury member independently or at the request of the Organizing Committee.
    • Voting Procedure: Jury members conduct a closed vote during the evaluation period, evaluating projects according to established criteria. The evaluation criteria for each category are developed by the Organizing Committee taking into account the specifics of the nomination and may include parameters such as innovation, creativity, functionality, usability, efficiency, social significance, and others.

6.3. Winner Determination:

The final score of each application is calculated using a weighted evaluation system.
Each jury member evaluates the application according to a set of criteria, with each criterion assigned a specific weight. The jury member’s individual score for the application is calculated as the weighted sum of all criteria scores.

The final score for the application is then determined as the arithmetic mean of all individual weighted scores given by the jury members.

In each category and subcategory, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places may be awarded, depending on the ranking of the final scores:

  • A participant may receive 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place if their final score exceeds the overall average (mean) final score for that category/subcategory.
  • If several participants receive identical final scores that exceed the average, they may share the same place (e.g., two 1st places, two 2nd places, etc.).
  • If all participants in a category/subcategory have final scores below or equal to the overall average, no winners are determined, and places are not awarded.

In the categories “Digital Startup”, “Innovations in Digital”, “Best AI Solution”, as well as any other categories at the discretion of the Organizing Committee, the jury may—based on a collective decision—determine one winner, several winners, or no winners, regardless of final scores or public voting.

The Organizing Committee makes the final decision on awarding places, taking into account the scoring results, jury recommendations, and the goals of the Award.
