Shoghakat TV is an Armenian spiritual-cultural television company founded by the Armenian Apostolic Church. It began broadcasting in November 2002 and is known for its focus on religious, family-oriented, and educational programs. The channel operates without commercial advertising and covers a wide range of topics, including civilization, history, religion, nature, and significant cultural values. Shoghakat TV aims to advocate Christian values, ethics, and morality, as well as to cover Armenian and world culture. It broadcasts 18 hours a day and has a coverage area that encompasses 90% of the Republic of Armenia. The channel’s programming includes films and concerts of both local and foreign production, contributing to the cultural life of Armenia and the Armenian diaspora.
